We are a large health care system with a recent upgrade to cloud based Microsoft 365 and have identified a higher level of patient risk due to users not being able to download attachments in Word that contain important information for patient care. We are in the process of converting all Word documents to PDF but with hundreds of owners and editors in the system, therevision process forpolicies allows theWord documents to be added back in and it becomes a constant state of checking, converting, notifying. I’d love the ability to only allow certain file types to be uploaded such as PDF and images to force the issue. For the average end-user, the download file process in M365 can be challenging and requires multiple steps to get the file downloaded and open. Even with training, this seems to be a continuing challenge.
